I have a Bachelors of Science in Environmental Science with a minor in Biology and I am currently in my junior year at Drexel University, perusing my 2nd degree, a Bachelors of Science in Education. In addition, for the past four years I have volunteered as a Catechist introducing and educating children in practices of religion and its role in today’s society. I have also recently began volunteering as a teacher's aide for a 5th grade math class.
At the present time, I am teaching Pre-K children. This position enables me to provide these students with a “head start” in mastering basic skills. I am challenged to be creative, nurturing and most of all, patient. This setting has also allowed me to observe classrooms, teaching methods and to talk to various educators concerning the latest educational concepts.
