28 years of tutoring for SAT. 15 years for ACT, GMAT, GRE, LSAT, etc. I have devised unique guessing strategies for multiple choice tests that by themselves have significantly raised students' scores. I have gone to Paris, France, all expenses paid, to do an intense 2-week SAT prep session. I love what I do- every child is a unique individual to me, and tutoring is what I am born to do.

A Little Bit About Me...

My teaching style is one where I combine the approach that best suits the individual’s personal learning style with proven sound educational best practices. I have had successes with motivating students who usually do not like to read. I have been able to help them by meeting them where they are and then helping them to formulate and meet their own goals. I have high expectations of students; however, those expectations are tempered with a realistic assessment of what the student is actually capable of achieving. More About This Tutor...

As a college student, I wanted to help other struggling students as well as polish my own skills. I decided that tutoring students would be a great job to earn money and achieve some personal goals. In addition, I played college sports so my students were other athletes. I have tutored students in math, accounting, finance, English, and various other business classes.
My teaching style is very hands on. I like to work the problems out with the students and show them how to do each step. I love questions and I love for the student to fully understand. I want the student to fully comprehend what they are doing. If not, they will never be able to do it without me there. Confidence is key and that can be achieved through repetition and a full understanding.
