I received my BSE with a specialization in English from Millersville University in December of 2009. Shortly after, I became an extended day substitute at Boyertown High School. During this time, I assumed the role of the teacher, taking on all of her responsibilities. When she returned five weeks later, I became a daily substitute filling in where I was needed.
