Whatever works best for the student. I understand that everyone learns best in their own way so I am very flexible to what works best for each students' needs.
To be honest I do not have any professional experience tutoring. However, throughout my entire educational career I have always been able to grasp material before my classmates and hence help them grasp the material themselves. It was my job to try to "trick" the scales before they could become available for commercial use. I moved back home to Coshocton when I got married. I quickly found a job teaching adults within our county's GED program. I easily became the math and science "guru" with my background and began getting my Masters in Education from Muskingum University.
