I would to teach math because I have been applying math my entire life. I have a four year degree in mechanical engineering technology. I have used math extensively in my everyday job. The last sixteen years I have used math to figure out complex equations. My problem solving skills are good. I teach my kids math and reading. I love teaching my two young children. I believe I can teach other children. I am a hard worker with a never give up attitude. I believe I can get the desired results for all kids. My goal is to help each child learn as much as possible but at the same time enjoy learning. Children need lots of love and attention. I rely on God's wisdom and strength every day because each day is a new experience or a new situation. I use games to help students learn. I pray for my students that God will help them enjoy learning. I taught in the inner city of Pittsburgh as reading tutor. In Columbus I taught music, reading, special education, and all other subjects from Preschool through high school. I tutored Whitehall high school students in their homes. I enjoyed teaching almost every day in different school districts for years. I have a masters degree in school counseling which has enabled me to understand the needs of most students.

I have been a working graphic designer for most of my life after graduation from Ohio State. After 12 years of design I was asked to participate in an art and education program at Chicago Public Schools Autism Program. I was hired on the spot and then continued with education by obtaining a masters degree in special education in Tempe Arizona. In Arizona I was assigned as an inclusion teacher for 9, 10 11th grade English. I had to accommodate diverse learners and plan instruction. I hold a valid Arizona Cross Catagorical Special Education Certificate that expires August 2013 I can identify students problems in learning and can accommodate and modify curriculum so diverse learning can understand grade level state standards. Each student will have a unique set of circumstances that make their learning style different. I am adept at finding that learning style or block to learning
