My comments on tutoring Economics : My undergrad major. I also tutored for many years in Economics and worked as an Economics Teacher's Assistant at the University of San Francisco.

I work in the compliance/legal field in banking with over 15 years of experience with an educational foundation of a B.A. in Economics and a J.D. (i.e., law degree). I'm multi-lingual with fluency in Spanish, German and Polish. I have well over a decade of tutoring experience predominantly in economics, various math topics, Spanish and various subjects of law, in addition to LSAT prep.

I think it is very important to not only feed information to your student, but also to create a relationship them. This helps the student to feel comfortable so they can ask questions, even those they may feel to be stupid. Nothing is better than seeing a huge smile on a child's face once they cath on to something. I love helping children learn by doing a lot of visual activities and practicing! I was always the only person who could help my younger sister study for tests because she said my teaching techinique is very helpful and makes her remember things. It always made me feel good knowing i was the only one who could help her study!
When I first attended Wilmington College, I was in early childhood education. I completed a whole semester of student teaching and volunteered for tutoring after school.
