Every person has the ability to learn! I have found the key is to establish a rapport with each student, and then find the method that works best for them. Some students learn better by hearing the concept. It is helpful for them to first have a conversation about what the subject matter is, and how it is used, and then proceed to the actual lessons. Other students excel when they see the concept first, and learn best through visual aids. The important step is finding what works for each child/student in order to make learning attainable, and enjoyable, and, most importantly, impart confidence.

As a graduate in Accounting, I was given the tools to be able to teach and comprehend a lot of math skills. A Little Bit About Me...

I am a calm and collected individual, and realize how long it took even myself to grasp some of the harder accounting theories. I believe it all depends on what kind of learner the student is, and how he or she manipulates the information given in text book and lectures to effectively grasp the information themselves. I tend to discover what manner the student typically learns best and adapt my teaching styles to suit. In addition, I explain some the key ways I used to effectively prepare for each and every accounting exam.
I attended college at Bloomsburg University and earned my BS in accounting, which is one of their few accredited and highly respectable programs.
