A Little Bit About Me...

I just recently taught an Elementary Statistics course as an adjunct at Mohawk Valley Community College. I possess a very strong mathematical and statistical background. I took a total of 6 specialized statistic courses at Oswego along with other upper level mathematics courses. I was involved in an independent study while at Oswego and interned in the actuarial department at Utica National Insurance Group. I have a bachelors degree, BS in Applied Mathematics, which has enabled me to gain an understanding in many areas of math and statistics. I feel that all college students should be well rounded and should take a wide variety of courses. I then enrolled at Utica College to finish my BS degree. Over those two years, I took 18 science courses and most of them were accompanied by labs. It was stressful and difficult but it was something I was determined to complete. I encourage students to see the wonder and "mystery" (there really isn't any mystery) of Math, regardless of the level, in the real world.
