Learning is a journey. I have a map but you have the wheels

As a lifelong learner I understand the importance of an effective teacher. I have been teaching and assisting college level classes for 2 years as a Graduate Teaching Assistant. During this time I have taught 6 classes consisting of introductory microbiology, microbial genetics and general biology. This experience has allowed me to develop my own teaching style and led to a greater understanding of both sides of the teacher-student dynamic.
I believe the best way to learn is to ask questions. The best thought process begins with asking the right questions. I love teaching with children, they can be a better people than us, if we are a good teachers for them. Every child is a great person in the future and they have potential for learning. My goal is providing the best education. I believe if we are mentors for kids, they can learn under a constructivist education.
I´ve been teaching since 10 years ago. I´ve been teaching from 1st grade to 12th grade. As a graduate of Colorado State University, I pursued my Mathematics degree, with a concentration in Secondary Education, with diligence. I earned my bachelor degree - BS in Mathematics. A Little Bit About Me...

I have recently retired from the U.S. Army as a medic. During my service, I was frequently responsible for both formal and informal teaching and training. I learned to easily adapt to various learning styles, learning barriers, and researching subjects. While still in the service, I utilized my lunch breaks and evenings to further my education and emerged with my AA and completed Nurse Assistant training while still serving and my BS only one year later; two months after retiring.
