During my years attending UMass Dartmouth, I recieved my Bachelor's Degree in Sociology with a minor in Business Administration. But I also gained alot of experience working with children. I am currently studying to become a High School Biology Teacher and will be taking the Mass. Test for Education License in May 2011. In 2009 I joined AmeriCorps and worked for the Mountain Studies Institute in Durango Colorado. While I was there, I held educational workshops, presentations and forums. While in school I helped my classmates in two separate ways. One as a part-time peer tutor, the second as the co-president of the Reef Check Volunteer Club.
