My comments on tutoring Spelling : Spelling is actually fairly easy once one learns the rules.

Very relaxed and encouraging. I use quite a bit of discussion, and I like to ask students questions that lead them down the path to help them discover the answers they seek. I have found that information is better retained if one can guide the student to the conclusion that they seek, building upon the knowledge that is already there. One of my favorite thing is watching stidents' faces when they have the "Aha!" Moments.

I have always loved helping people improve their grades and studying techniques. I would love to become a teacher one day. Each person is different and sometimes needs an adjustment to their way of learning. It helps to have someone narrow materials down and be patient with you.
