My comments on tutoring Typing Skills : I have had excellent typing skills since high school, where I studied secretarial skills and had a high B average. Had held several office, typing jobs for 8 years as a secretary.

High School graduate, Robert E. Lee, Staunton,Va. 1971. Blue Ridge Community College, Weyers Cave, Va. 1 year Chemistry, on Merit list. Graduated from Staunton School of Cosmetology, Staunton, Va. 1980. Have had my own cosmetology business from then to the present. Southside Community College, massage therapy, included anatomy and physiology, 2013. Studied business and teaching, at VCU, 1971-72, did not complete degree program.
Relaxed, personal, but concentrate on learning, making progress at student's pace and level of achievement. I will try to make learning fun and interesting.

I am a recent high school graduate. I graduated in the top fourth of my class. My GPA is a 3.48. My best subject is math. I enjoy helping and working with others to help them succeed. I completed a class in high school named Teach Cadet where I learned the basics about education and the importance of being a versatile teacher. I was able to work with children from head start to elementary level. I also was a member of two organizations at school where I worked with sixth graders about the importance of goals and worked with fourth graders about the importance of team work.
I try to adapt to the way the student prefers. I understand that there are various ways people obtain and grasp knowledge.

I have been studying Japanese for two years now. I've also taught Japanese to classes. I have taken college course on it and have many Japanese pen-pals that I converse with as well. As for computers I have been using and studying many programs on it. I am very well versed in the computer world. I have recently graduated from Virginia Tech where I majored in Biological Sciences. This included biology, physics, and chemistry as focus points. My tutoring experience has been volunteer work. Throughout my academic career I have always helped others, from explaining difficult concepts to peer reviewing papers in college. I have also been a substitute teacher at my local high school since 2007. I recently worked under a doctoral candidate on a research project about warblers. A Little Bit About Me...

I have taken an Effective Teaching class at our local Community College. We learn all types of techniques for helping students to learn. Some students learns by hands on applications others through repetition. Still each person is unique and I believe all students can learn. There are all types of material available including resource found on the Internet to make learning more fun and without boundaries.
I have taken 18 hours of Math courses including Algebra, Calculus, Business Mathematics and Math Analysis. I have my undergraduate degree in Accounting and an MBA in Accounting. I have worked as a Substitute Teacher at the Elementary, Middle and High School levels. I have written numerous research papers and business report.
