I am presently a doctoral student in education and have 17 years in teaching from preschool to adult level. My masters is in educational administration where I have had the opportunity to be and administrater of early childhood programs and develop programs from scratch including staffing, curriculum design and training. My undergraduate is in elementary and early childhood education where I have served in public and private schools in PA, VA, FLA. My passion is working with children of all ages. I believe all children can learn and it depends on how you approach their learning. If a child is not learning, I need to re-evaluate how I go about teaching. I am very patient and have an outgoing personality. I believe that you must teach to the whole child before true learning can happen. I have been a classroom teacher for 9 years. All 10 of my years out of school have been in the education field. My first year out of college I taught at an unaccredited private school, and then at an accredited day care center. The next 7 years were at a public school. One year I was recruiting for scholarships at the college level. I have always opened my door to students without expectations of payment for several years.
