I have 20 years experience as an educator and 2 years as a private tutor. I currently teach English in an adult education setting and have successfully tutored students in Reading, Writing, Grammar, Math, Study Skills, SAT/ACT prep and GED preparation.

A Little Bit About Me...

I believe in education and don't understand why people don't invest more time and resources in education. Educated human beings not only look different but they are different from within. They are more sensitive, spiritual, mature and stable. It is wonderful to teach young people and see their metamorphosis before our eyes. There's nothing more exciting then to unveil a world of knowledge to young people.
After graduation I decided never to stop studying Law, the Brazilian legal system, different legal systems around the world and international law, both public and private. I became a specialist in tax law, a master in jurisprudence and a PhD in international law. Becoming a professor was only natural and my teasing career began in 1992 or 1993. I like to take a holistic view to my teaching style and see what the children need out of a teacher. Sometimes I prefer to work visually and hands on, where other times I feel the children learn best from reading and going through the book. I like to be patient and take a more relaxed approach with children so that they feel comfortable with me.
