I believe in education and don't understand why people don't invest more time and resources in education. Educated human beings not only look different but they are different from within. I like to take a holistic view to my teaching style and see what the children need out of a teacher. Sometimes I prefer to work visually and hands on, where other times I feel the children learn best from reading and going through the book. I like to be patient and take a more relaxed approach with children so that they feel comfortable with me.

I have educated both college and middle school students, and through these experiences I learned that the key to effectively teaching others is patience. I guide my students but do not do the work for them. Most students have the ability to learn the material being instructed to them. By being patient, I give the students the opportunity to problem solve on their own, which ultimately builds confidence. With more confidence, students seem to learn better. I believe this is the key to mastering any academic subject.
