Being an undergraduate at WPI and haven taken several Advanced Placement classes in areas outside of math and science, I consider myself a very well rounded student. I was also strongly considered for a MASH program here at the University, or "Math and Science Help", as a Section Leader/Tutor. Going through a lower-middle class urban high school, I was known as that "smart kid" and would often led study groups outside of class to prepare for tests.
I have struggled with the areas I am not proficient in, so I understand what it is to be frustrated and confused. My teaching style is presenting various approaches to the same idea, in hopes that at least one will click, and better yet, each approach with solidify an idea or concept that much more.

I am going into my senior year as an undergraduate Math major at the University of Rochester. In addition, I am in a five year master's program with the University of Rochester School of Education. I have 3 years of teaching experience as a math teaching assistant, a teaching assistant in a 6th grade classroom, and was a teaching assistant in the Boston public schools' summer program this past summer as well. Trigonometry is one of my top subjects!

I always do my best to be kind and understanding to every student I have. I know that everyone has different learning speeds and different proficiencies, so I always try to be accommodating of that. I also try to present material in different ways if the student doesn't understand it the first time.
I have worked as a teacher aide at Temple Shalom Emeth Hebrew School.
