I like helping students learn and seeing them succeed. I feel the best way to teach a student is by finding out which technique they most agree with. I am patient and easy going and want to provide the best education possible. With the appropriate learning experiences, I believe any student can meet their potential and my goal is to help them do so. I have recently graduated from Iowa State University with a bachelor’s degree in statistics. The coursework in this program has allowed me to gain an understanding of many areas of statistics and mathematics. I have always been successful at teaching children to understand and believe that they can learn anything from hitting a baseball to doing algebra. Each child learns differently, as I have learned from my own children. Starting slowly and building on the fundamentals will open the child's eyes and give them the confidence to succeed.
