My comments on tutoring Elementary Reading : Experience in teaching Kindergarten and First grade reading.

I got my B.S. degree in Elementary Education in 2004. I am very eager to help children learn. Children are like sponges, they soak up a wealth of information at such a young age. My experience consists of working as a long term sub for third and fourth grades in Fredericktown, Missouri. I have also substituted in the Pasadena ISD, Channelview ISD, and Sheldon ISD. I have taught all ages. From Kindergarten to High School students. My degree concentration is in history. But, I prefer to help with reading, phonics, vocabulary, spelling, and math.
Each child has different learning abilities. Hands on is the best type of teaching.

I am a college student; I have helped children with their homework countless times, due to holding the position of a nanny for 2 1/2 years. I have assisted young students in the areas of math, reading, spelling, history, science, etc. My expertise lies within the area of reading and spelling. When the children that I nannied for had spelling bee's coming up, I helped them study for the bee's, including help with words associated with various languages.
