Biology and Chemistry Tutoring

Hello, I am a recent UAB graduate. I graduated May 2013 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with minor's in Psychology and Chemistry. I am currently in the process of applying to dental schools. Although I've had no previous experience as a paid tutor, I often get asked by fellow classmates for help with these sciences. Also I volunteer at an Elementary school in Fairfield, AL through the non-profit organization Better Basics. So I am already accustomed to working/helping younger kids (K-6th) do homework and prepare for tests. My younger brother is a sophomore in high school so I feel capable of helping high school ages as well. As I mentioned earlier, most of my tutoring experience comes from helping fellow college classmates and I am confident I can help you or your child achieve the grades desired, regardless of age.

I received my Bachelor's and Masters degree in Biology from The University of Alabama. I was placed on the President's List for two semesters and the Dean's List for six semesters. I was in the pre-health honor society Alpha Epsilon Delta. I am very experienced and knowledgeable in many science subjects such as Anatomy, Biology, Genetics, Chemistry, and Organic Chemistry. Since Mich of humanity's understanding is based on metaphor, description and its subtleties is a key part of any writing process, be it creative or instructional.My favorite form of writing is creative, however I also enjoy writing essays and other pieces based on fact.
