For six years I have enjoyed a "love affair" with teaching. Beginning with two years as an elementary school tutor, I was able to gain experience in teaching all subjects, and specialized in reading for students with learning disabilities. Once I began graduate school I began tutoring undergraduate students in a variety of subjects within the colleges of humanities and social and behavioral science. I also worked as a teaching assistant for two years, during which time I was the primary teacher for 1/3 of each semester. I will be substitute teaching for several Anthropology classes this fall while a professor is out of the country for six weeks.
