Since I have been around 15, starting with my growing nieces, it has always stood out to me how the child's brain develops. Seeing one of my nieces grasp material quicker than the other. I took up two years of Early Childhood Education in high school as a co-op class and learned a lot about the development of children. Therefore, I use short formative assessments throughout teaching to measure the student's knowledge and understanding. Finally, I ensure that the student can generalize or apply the concept.
