Accounting is one of my top subjects! I graduated from Bloomsburg University (Pennsylvania) in Fall 2000 and have worked at a public accounting firm (ParenteBeard) for the last 11 years. A Little Bit About Me...

I try to work at a pace that is comfortable for the student and also meets the academic requirements for their program. I have a lot of patience and encourage students to try even when they are not familiar or comfortable with a subject. The first step is always the hardest. I believe anyone can learn and feel no one is too old to go back to school. Learning and education should be encouraged no matter what stage of life we are at.
I earned Associate’s degrees in Liberal Arts and Accounting, as well as a Certificate in Office Technology. I had the highest GPA for both the Certificate and the AS in Accounting at the same time. I have tutored many friends and family throughout highschool and college and my teaching methods have spoke for themselves. I like to teach at that learners pace and let them start what they are good at and develop their knowledge from there. I am very active in answering questions and like to be a visual teacher since I am a visual person. I like to take a step by step approach to math and accounting because that is the easiest way to learn.
