Tutor at Your Service!

In term of my Science experience being a biology major i have taken several Biology classes and was a Biology tutor/ Workshop leader for over a year, i have also taken a few Chemistry classes as well. I might need to brush up my skills a little but im sure we will get into the flow of things very quickly.
I believe visual learning is key to a successful student, so i usually draw out or show videos and explain step by step what they just saw. What student do not understand if i can (usually i can :)).

As an undergraduate student I was always in the top ten percentile of my math, chemistry and biology classes, and as a result, I tutored fellow college students in those respective subjects. After earning my bachelor degree in biology, I worked as an educator at the South Carolina Aquarium where I taught interactive classes to kindergarten, middle school and high school students. A Little Bit About Me...

I love children of all ages, including Middle School and Highschool. I do not alweats go by the book. I do what I feel is best for that particular child's learning style. I teach outside the box and encourage learning rather than straight memorization. I help children love learning.
I taught in public school and private. While doing so and during summers, I tutored on my own. I got married in 1986, had three children and stayed out of the classroom for a while. I homeschooled my own children and began an ACCREDITED highschool for home schoolers. I taught and tutored all subjects. I have also worked with several learning disabled children. I can teach/tutor pretty much any subject ages K-college. I have also worked in the Writing Lab at Clayton State College. I feeel very qualified for this job.
