I enjoy teaching and working with students. I believe all children can learn according to their individual learning styles. I enjoy seeing success when the students understand the material and achieve to their greatest potential. Since I have a child of my own who has struggled with a Learning Disability, I have learned various methods and techniques to help him understand the content material. The key to being a good teacher is being patient. I believe children learn best in a positive and stress-free environment. When a child does good on the work then I praise them and if they make a mistake then I explain to them the error in the homework. When I was a small child, I remember my teacher being patient and helping me along the way. I have recently obtained the status of Professional Land Surveyor with the State of Kentucky.
