I have been a teacher with CPS for four years. I am currently a Special Education teacher for grades K-5. I teach a caseload of 33 students ranging in abilities. I have a significant amount of experience teaching reading, math, and writing to struggling learners. In addition to working with students that have disabilities, I also have a degree in Elementary Education. I teach regular education students within my intervention groups throughout my school day. I have had the privilege of attending and graduating from Southeastern University with my Bachelor of Arts in English and Intercultural Studies. In the summer of 2012 I completed an eight-week internship teaching English to refugees in Omaha.
