Since graduating in 1999 from the University of Minnesota-Minneapolis with a Masters in Business Administration with an Accounting concentration, I have worked extensively in Accounting Management and administration. I am very knowledgeable in the full-cycle accounting functions necessary to hold a job as an Accounting Manager, Staff Accountant, Accountant, and Bookkeeper. A Little Bit About Me...

This past year I graduated magna cum laude from Carleton College with a Bachelor’s in History and Medieval Studies. I have studied abroad at Oxford University, and in Rome and Romania, and have a lot of experience in writing research reports and essays. As a student of the liberal arts I have studied a wide variety of subjects, from theology to environmental science, from Old English to statistics and am comfortable in almost any subject. Summary of experience: I have a year of tutoring experience on statistics at St. Cloud State University. I helped create solutions for homework, hold tutor office hours to assist students, grade their homework, and create study materials for exams. I was also an at-risk youth counselor at the Catholic Charities for six months.
Teaching Style I prefer to let students learn according to their style of learning. Fortunately, with my MBA almost completed, I am a master in learning during crunch time. As a tutor, I will first identify the existing learning gaps from the student. Then I would arrange the sequence of the learning objectives, and the time necessary to complete these objectives. Finally, I will arrange for mini-tests to let the student apply and reinforce their knowledge along the way. Parents’ support is crucial in all the stages.
