I firmly believe that every student can learn, given the proper environment and instruction. I make it a point to listen to my students and try to see intellectual confusion and impasses from their viewpoint so that I can teach them in a way that makes sense to them and allows them to fully understand the concept I am trying to relay. Tutoring is a learning process for both me and my students, and I am dedicated to seeing my students through it. I am patient and want to see my students succeed in their studies and am willing to alter my teaching style based on the needs of my students in order to help them achieve their goals.

While in college thought CCD classes to 4th grade students Held and directed literacy classes to English-Speaking adults. I speak and write English and Spanish fluently. Tutored Biology and Chemistry during college
After obtaining a list of objectives, I like to offer a pop quiz to set a baseline. Thereafter, topics are divided in number of days available for preparation. Most important topics and topics not well understood get time and individualized priority. Offer a challenge test at the end. Harder than the test students will face but no so hard as to lower self steem.
