I ask questions, I make math fun!! I draw pictures. The assinments are OUR assignments the students are not alone. Math was hard for me too I GET why they are stuck!!
I work with students of various backgrounds, aging from pre teen to retirement age, many with learning disabilities, many who are also ahead of their peers. I have a resource room and lesson plans for each group of students seperated by subject. I help them with Math, time management and note taking. Last year I was a course assistant for a college freshman-year math course in theoretical math at Harvard University. I am enrolling in a PhD program in pure math at the University of Texas, Austin, where I will have a 16-hour-per week teaching load including three sections of undergraduate calculus. A Little Bit About Me...

I started tutoring in 9th grade, and continued until my freshman year of college. I tutored middle school and high school students in math, sciences, and social studies. In college I tutored in Level 1 and 2 French, Psychology, and College Level Algebra. I have tutored both male and female students, and have worked with people with reading and learning disabilities.
