I never learned best when I was just asked to read a passage out of a book. I need to be able to apply what I am learning and understand why what I am learning is important. I will do my best to tutor students in a more hands-on manner.
Hello! My name is Kayla Bear. I am a first-year student at Purdue University; however, I am a sophomore according to my credit hours. I earned college credit in high school to get ahead of the game. I worked as a peer mentor throughout high school, helping students with their homework and helping prepare them for tests such as the SAT. I have taken a number of courses in various subjects, so I feel that I am able to help a wide range of students.
