Though I graduated with a BS in Secondary English Education, I have tutored and worked with students from elementary to secondary levels. From 2003-2008 I taught English and a little Spanish in both public and private schools, endeavoring to give my fullest and best to teaching all students who came across my path. Teaching in a U.S. public school and at a private institution overseas introduced me to a variety of students from different backgrounds, learning styles, and study habits. I have tutored and given instruction in all areas of English, grammar, literature, writing, English as a second language, and Spanish. A Little Bit About Me...

I finished my BA with concentrations in management and accounting at Troy University in 2007,then worked for three years in an Accounting Office. I left there in January 2010 to pursue my Masters in Accounting. I gained valuable experience in reading, writing and the application of mathematical formulas through working in a fast paced accounting office. I supervised one to three employees, trained them and audited their work. I have never officially tutored a student, but I have trained employees on accounting principals and how to write to the IRS and clients, as well as helping out friends and fellow students. I would like to tutor in reading, writing, history, business, and math.

I have two English-related degrees from the University of Miami, Print Journalism and Creative Writing (Poetry Focus). Since graduating in 2005, I have worked as a teacher in South Korea, Miami Beach, FL, and here in the greater Pensacola area. My classes have ranged from large groups of 30 or more, to private one-on-one sessions with individual students. I have also written for many newspapers and magazines, both domestic and foreign, so I know how to communicate in the most effective and concise way possible.
