I have been teaching for 20 years or more. I have a dual certification in General education and Special education. I have experience teaching in both classrooms. I am currently semi retired. I am tutoring and working on my reading certification. I have taught here in Florida and in Louisiana. I enjoy working one on one with my students. Tutored online for a company providing tutoring in English to students from a private school in Texas. Some of these students spoke Spanish as their primary language. Completed 30 hours of in classroom hours as part of my Practicum experience for my teaching degree. Tutored high school students.

Parents are briefed on progress after each session. Together, parents, students and I can work to promote and improve learning skills. 2012-2013-SES Tutor, Escambia County, Florida- Provided tutoring for elementary aged students via a vendor for the county, Tutored Reading and Comprehension and Math to students who did not score well on standardized tests. 2010-2013-Private Tutor for several companies and independently, Tutored students of all ages in a variety of subjects at local libraries and in their homes.

Prior to pursuing my teaching degree, I operated an in-home daycare center for ten years for ages 6 mos. and up. SES tutor since October of 2011- Provided SES tutoring for elementary aged students in Reading, Comprehension and Language. Tutor for high school aged students. Currently, providing tutoring as an independent tutor primarily to elementary and middle school aged children in a variety of subjects.
