My comments on tutoring American History : I have tutored two different students (one boy and one girl, both with ADHD), plus taught it to each of my 3 homeschooled daughters. We make it exciting! Not just boring names and dates.

I homeschooled my three daughters for 10 years, right through high school. All three have gone on to Colllege and have excelled, making the Dean's list. Love children and think that all are capable of learning!

I think each child has a different learning style and once you find that they enjoy learning. I like to keep students active and do different projects that they can be creative in doing.
I graduate with my BS in Middle Grades Education on Dec 20th. I am ceritifed in Math and Social Studies and will seek my certification in Language Arts in Jan 2013.
