Physical science and math are often the most difficult subjects for students, but I believe anyone can understand the "basic idea." The difficulty comes from attempting to connect their intuitive understanding with the symbols on the paper. Many students think of these subjects as the memorization of formulas. But if they grasp the "basic idea," they can adapt and apply it to any problems they face. Instead of developing a toolbox of formulas, my goal as a teacher is to help the student develop a toolbox of problem-solving strategies. I graduated summa cum laude with a BSBA finance degree from the University of Central Missouri. I am currently an MBA student studying finance as my concentration discipline. As a part of my degree programs I have taken nine undergraduate credit hours in accounting and three graduate hours in accounting. Through these degree programs I have extensive experience in math, statistics, and analytical problem solving.
