Every single student has already learned a great deal without being taught; an educator’s challenge is to negotiate the various experiences and sociocultural influences to increase student awareness and use of those inherent, autonomous learning capabilities. A Little Bit About Me...

I have been working with children since I was twelve years old. I have worked in a daycare, as a nanny, and as a 5th grade teacher. I taught language, reading, writing, and spelling to 64 students. My experience through college classes as well as my student teaching have enabled me to teach all elementary levels.
