An enthusiastic tutor with a PhD in chemistry!

I have found through my 6 years of teaching students, that flexibility is a key component. Explaining a difficult concept to a student should be customized to each individual students' needs. I encourage students to always ask questions even if they think they are stupid. Everyone has to ask those questions at some point in their career! I enjoy helping people learn because I love seeing the "light bulb click on above their head" when they finally grasp a concept. I have been working with children since I was twelve years old. I have worked in a daycare, as a nanny, and as a 5th grade teacher. I taught language, reading, writing, and spelling to 64 students. My experience through college classes as well as my student teaching have enabled me to teach all elementary levels.
