My Undergraduate studies involved extensive study Art history and my Masters Diploma in Textiles helped me a lot in research studies.I also won a scholarship to study Strategic Design in Milan. I am very creative and can communicate effortlessly. During my stay in India, I volunteered in a Blind school and later in a school for slow learners and children with autism. My Masters in Psychology supplemented this learning. I worked for a year with Citibank in their training department that involved teaching new employees and developed numerous teaching modules. Students learn skills by using them in a realistic, subject-specific context, and in a combined way. So they might use other skills taught before such as note taking, highlighting, all in context. The purpose of the skills are stressed, students are taught not just what to do and how, but also why. The students then reflect on how well they used the skills, what gains they were getting and so on, and then they action plan for improvement.

I love working with children. I was involved in girl scouts from first grade all the way to 12th grade and in those years I learned a lot of leadership skills. I am very patient and want to provide education to anyone that needs it. When I was in school I often struggled with school work, so I learned many different techniques to learn how to learn.
While I was an undergraduate, volunteering was very important to me. One of the places I volunteered was an after school program for children who live in Hamilton Hill. While I volunteered there I helped many of them with there homework as well as extra reading and writing to help improve those skills.
