I taught for seven years in public education. My experience spans from grades 5-8. In that time, I worked with a diverse population with varying needs. A Little Bit About Me...

Currently, I work at a learning center, where I tutor students at a 3:1 ratio in beginning reading, academic reading, math, and writing. I also tutor a 2nd grade dyslexic student once a week, and a 3rd and 5th grade student in math. I am very passionate about tutoring and love seeing the difference I make in each student's life.
I have been extremely fortunate the last couple years to gain a lot of teaching experience through substituting and student teaching, as well as tutoring. A Little Bit About Me...

When I taught sailing to young kids, I used to dress up like a pirate. I have lots of energy. I know I'm doing my job right when kids start laughing.
