A Little Bit About Me...

The extent of my teaching experience was in rural Kentucky where I functioned as a substitute teacher for Beaver Dam, Kentucky schools, both for the elementary and high schools. I have a great desire to work one on one with children again in order to help them with their learning skills, social skills and self-esteem building, all of which are related to being on equal ground with their peers in school. I try a variety of approaches to see what works with each student. If you have 25 students in a class, you can have 25 different learning styles. I believe a lot in hands-on and learning from others. Questions are always welcome. I continually do course work to keep up on new approaches. Being teachable is key. I have seen students I work with have success.
