I'm a very auditory type of person meaning I like to explain, but I understand sometimes that gets boring so I can come up with different strategies to get my point across.
In high school I graduated 3rd in my class. Tutored last summer at big buddy for volunteer and did a little this summer so I'm still getting the hang of it, but my passion is helping students to excel in their reading skills. My comments on tutoring Reading Comprehension : I use a student's schemata as a jumping off point, this technique gives students the opportunity to be comfortable with specific subject matters.

I am a facilitator of many styles of teaching, I use visual aids, kinesthetics, tactile, musical, etc. when teaching.
Thirty-three hours toward a Master's Degree in Urban Education, Four-year degree in General Studies with the majority of classes in Math and Education. I use computers to help students with reading comprehension and to visually represent concepts to raise achievement levels. Additionally, I will be fully-certified by May of 2013.
