I have a B.S. degree in Information Systems with over 30 years experience in the computer industry. I have 9 children which are home schooled (ages 3-17). I'm a math/science guy. I have taught Junior church in the past. I believe in learning to do things the "hard" way for math, making change, etc. Calculators are good for higher functions and after basics are learned.
