I have 15 years teaching experience in the field of Special Education. I have worked with students with a wide range variety of disabilities including learning disabilities, behavior disorders, and multiple disabilities. I have current teaching certificates in the state of South Dakota and Iowa for elementary education and special education. 6 of the 15 years have been at the high school level in special education. I have always loved school and learning and try to learn new things every day. After I graduated from high school I regretted the fact that I hadn't done better in math. I promised myself that someday I would go back to school and learn these skills; I accomplished this in 2005. I was very active in my children's classrooms as a parent volunteer/tutor(1:1 and group tutor- all subjects)- huge success. I obtained a BA in elementary ed with a middle school endorsement and searching for creative ways to utilize my teaching skills.
