Genetics is one of my top subjects! I have just completed a PhD in genetics (specifically plant genetics) and I was a TA for Cornell's Introduction to Genetics class for 8 semesters

Though my experience is mostly in molecular biology, it can be expanded to general life sciences. I have just completed a PhD in Genetics at Cornell University with a minor in biochemistry and during my graduate experience, I lectured as a Teaching Assistant for the Introduction to Genetics class for 8 semesters.
My teaching style consists of asking leading questions to enable the student to learn how to think through problems on their own.

Throughout my sophomore year of high school I tutored middle school math students (ages 11-14) and helped to train our "Mathalon" team. My junior and senior years of high school I mostly helped biology students prepare for the regents exams, as well as continued in the after school reading program for kindergarteners and preschoolers. I love to help children and adults learn and understand course material.
