I have had a deep interest in helping people since I was a young child. Seeing someone succeed because of my help is one of the greatest motivators for me, especially when it's "against the odds". As a college student I tutored the students who really wanted to learn but couldn't through no fault of their own--those with learning disabilities and non-native English speakers. A Little Bit About Me...

During my undergraduate studies, I was involved in various tutoring/mentoring organizations on campus. I served as a mentor for local area children ages 8-14 as part of an after-school "big buddy" program. During my junior and senior years, I tutored newer students in math, science, and engineering courses. A Little Bit About Me...

I work with students of various backgrounds, aging from pre teen to retirement age, many with learning disabilities, many who are also ahead of their peers. I have a resource room and lesson plans for each group of students seperated by subject. I help them with Math, time management and note taking. I work closely with other administrative staff and allow students to discover their potential.
