I served as a mentor for local area children ages 8-14 as part of an after-school "big buddy" program. A Little Bit About Me...

Watching the look on students face as they grasp a concept they are struggling with is what makes teaching and tutoring worthwhile for me. I love the "aha" moment. I have a laid back, but respectful style of tutoring and teaching where I encourage students to think about concepts and how they understand those concepts. Last year I was a course assistant for a college freshman-year math course in theoretical math at Harvard University.
