Mainly with visual techniques.
Have been tutoring since 1983, was an Math teacher for one year in an internship that ended when the city went bankrupt. I graduated from Sam Houston State University with master degree in accounting and passed CPA Exam. I tutored students voluntarily a when I was at school and obtained the experiences for tutoring in accounting. I worked as a financial analyst at bank for 7 years and obtained on hands experiences in financial statements analysis and internal audit.
I prefer to help students to understand the concepts and then work on problems independently. If the student is not capable to work independently, I will also be happy to hold his/her hands to go through problems based upon the understanding of concepts.
