As a Hiram College student I feel I have gained a great deal of knowledge through a combination of learning from excellent instructors and having a variety of teaching experiences. I student taught tenth grade for a semester during my senior year of college at West Geauga High School. This experience was very valuable and prepared me for working with students in a variety of ways. I have a degree specifically in English Education and am trained to teach and tutor in all areas of Language Arts, including reading comprehension, writing, speaking, and grammar. During my time at Hiram College I gained experience working with 3rd-6th graders and college students in writing.
