My comments on tutoring English : An area of study I did well in during college.

I have a very gentle and nurturing style of teaching. I NEVER scold or allow a student to feel bad about his/her work. I try to give an optimistic approach to each student and encourage their successes, and focus on improving their weaknesses. I leave parenting to the parents.
I have over 25 years experience teaching children & adults, including handicapped students, privately and in classroom settings.I am competent tutoring many scholastic areas including English, Math, Science, Art and social studies.
