I have a passion for education and helping others. I also love math and problem solving. I have earned my BS in Business with a major in MIS, and have completed many extra math classes. I tutored all through college when I went (at the high school and college level). I have enjoyed teaching my daughter and others her age (elementary level), and have learned a lot about learning styles. While attending Miami University I earned two science department awards for tutoring and mentoring Botany students in research and writing skills and study skills. At Highview Elementary, Middletown, tutored 5th grade students in Reading under Title 1. Charted their progress and submitted to teachers at least once a week. At Sinclair Community College provided math lecture and instruction during the 5 hour sessions for 9th graders.
