My comments on tutoring Typing Skills : I have taught college students how to type for papers. I have training in teaching students how to type.

I use a combination of both online games and Websites and hands-on manipulatives. First, I like for the student to take multiple intelligence tests and then I know how best to help the student. The information I gain from the analysis is extremely informative. It tells me where the students' strengths lie such as some students are musically inclined, some are visual learners, auditory learners, some are mathematicians and various other styles. Then, the style that they learn through the best is how I would teach the student; this is based on Gardner's Multiple Intelligence. Second, meeting the standards are essential in today's education system. The four C's of the 21st century is also necessary for students' to learn. They are collaboration, communication, critical thinking and creativity.

My name is Nicole Koerner and I'm a native speaker of Germany. I was born and raised in Germany. I received a B.A in German Studies/ Communication & Culture from Kutztown University,PA in May 2009. During the past few years,I've been tutoring German to children in High School. I’ve recently graduated in from Albright College with a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science. However, as a student at Susquehanna University, I also volunteered at least 2 days a week at a local preschool where I helped teach the students. In addition, I worked at a local elementary after-school program 2 days a week. I am currently pursuing my teaching certification through Drexel University.
While I enjoy business, working with children is my passion, hence why I am pursuing my teaching certification.
