I really enjoy working with children, primarily in the lower grades. I am patient, caring, and easy going. I strongly believe that children are most successful when they are able to learn through doing. I feel that it is very important to teach using multiple modalities rather than just speaking to a child. For me, the most exciting aspect of teaching is having the opportunity to make a difference in a child's life and teach them something that will impact the rest of their lives.
While I have been working on my Elementary Education degree I have had the opportunity to teach young children. I have also spent the last two semesters taking methods classes, learning to teach different subjects.
